Why This Collagen Works Faster Than the Rest 🧜♀️✨
For decades, beauty has focused on quick fixes: what you put on your skin. But the most radiant glow, strongest hair, and healthiest aging begin from within.
Introducing Pique's Carrara Marine Collagen, a true breakthrough in beauty. This first-of-its-kind formula combines Type I marine collagen for visible radiance with rare Type II collagen from wild Hokkaido salmon to support deeper structural resilience. Enhanced with biotin and micronized pearl powder, Carrara helps promote smoother, more luminous skin, stronger hair and nails, and whole-body vitality.
Designed for superior absorption, you'll see results faster than with traditional collagen. Its rich coconut cream base transforms your daily routine into something indulgent. More ritual than supplement, it elevates even your morning coffee or matcha.
This is collagen, completely reimagined. Not just glow but structure. Not just results but longevity. A new foundation for beauty, built from within. 🧜♀️✨
🏗️ DMACC Lands $2M Federal Grant for New Ankeny Trades Facility
The big one. U.S. Rep. Zach Nunn announced $2 million in federal Community Project Funding for a new DMACC academic facility on the Ankeny campus. The building will house DMACC's building trades, HVAC, diesel technology, Ford automotive training, and fire science programs — all under one roof.
Translation: Ankeny's largest community college is doubling down on skilled trades at a time when electricians, HVAC techs, and diesel mechanics are in short supply statewide. The federal dollars supplement DMACC's existing capital plan, and construction timelines haven't been announced yet, but the funding is now locked in.
Worth watching: DMACC's Ankeny campus already trains more students than any other community college campus in Iowa. A dedicated trades hub could pull even more enrollment — and more construction traffic — to the area.

🗣️ Local Business Spotlight: Speech Therapy That Comes to You
Most pediatric speech therapy means scheduling around a clinic and dragging a kid across town. Speech Now Therapy Center flips the model — therapists come to the child's home, daycare, or preschool instead.
Founder Lacey Seawright, a speech-language pathologist for nine years, specializes in autistic kids, gestalt language processors, and children who use AAC — augmentative and alternative communication, the tablets and picture systems that give non-speaking and minimally speaking kids a way to express themselves.
Many AAC users, she says, "have either been misunderstood or have not been supported in the way that they need."
